Connected Car Wi-Fi FAQs

Connected Car Wi-Fi by Verizon provides fast, secure in-vehicle internet access, powered by America's best network.

You can connect up to 8* internet devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming devices, etc.) to Wi-Fi in your vehicle. Browse the internet, stream videos and music, play games, keep the kids quiet - just like at home.

*The number of devices that can be connected varies by vehicle.

If you have an Unlimited plan you can add Connected Car Wi-Fi for $20/month.

If you have a data-only plan you can add it for $10/month.

Connected Car Wi-Fi service is a line on your existing Verizon account. It will appear on your monthly bill and in My Verizon under My Devices .

Not with Verizon yet? Bentley, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, Toyota, and Volkswagen customers can take advantage of our $20 Unlimited Prepaid plan by selecting the Prepaid option on the Connected Car plans page.

These models are compatible with Connected Car Wi-Fi:

• Bentley : Bentley Bentayga 2021 and newer
• Hyundai : 2023 Palisade
• Kia ®: 2022 Carnival and newer models
• Lamborghini : Urus 2022 and newer
• Lexus : Lexus vehicles with Enform 2.0 are currently eligible to get Connected Car Wi-Fi service
• Mazda : Select Mazda vehicles with Mazda Connect are eligible to get Connected Car Wi-Fi service
• Toyota : Toyota vehicles with Entune 3.0 are currently eligible to get Connected Car Wi-Fi service
• Volkswagen : All VW vehicles manufactured between 2020-2024 using VW Car-Net® (only exception is eGolf).

After your free Connected Car Wi-Fi trial you'll be able to sign up from your device the next time you try to connect. You'll also receive a trial expiration email with the chance to subscribe to continue Connected Car Wi-Fi service.

No. You can't transfer a Connected Car Wi-Fi line to another vehicle.

You have to cancel your existing Connected Car Wi-Fi line of service and create a new one. To complete this process, click the Chat with us button at the bottom right corner of this page to contact one of our representatives.

Once you've added Connected Car Wi-Fi to your Verizon account, or created a new Verizon account with Connected Car Wi-Fi, connect a device to the Wi-Fi hotspot in your vehicle and check your internet connection.

Note: Always pay close attention to the road, don't use your device while driving, and don't drive when distracted.

You can monitor your data usage in the My Verizon app Data Hub and in My Usage .

The Connected Car free trial is available for eligible Bentley vehicles and lasts until you use up 1 GB of data or after 30 days, whichever comes first.

For eligible Bentley vehicles you can begin the trial the first time you connect to the Connected Car Wi-Fi in your vehicle.

During the trial you'll receive alerts when you have 50% and 0% of your trial data remaining.

Once you have 0% of your data remaining or your trial period has ended, we'll send you an email letting you know the trial has expired and asking you to subscribe for continued service.

You can subscribe through your mobile device connected to your Bentley vehicle, or follow the link in the email to subscribe via verizon.com.

Once you've used up your free trial data or reached the day limit you'll receive a trial expiration email with the chance to subscribe to continue Connected Car Wi-Fi service.

Once you've used up your free trial data or reached the 1-month limit you'll receive a trial expiration email with the chance to subscribe to continue Connected Car Wi-Fi service.

The connected car free trial is available for eligible vehicles and lasts until you use up your free data or exceed the specified time frame, whichever comes first.

• Lexus : 4 GB of data or 12 months
• Toyota : 2 GB of data or 6 months

For eligible Lexus and Toyota vehicles you'll be given the chance to opt in to the free trial the first time you connect to the Connected Car Wi-Fi in your vehicle.

During the trial you'll receive alerts when you have 50%, 25%, 10% and 0% of your trial data remaining.

Once you have 0% of your data remaining, you'll receive an email letting you know that the trial has expired and asking you to subscribe for continued service.

Once you've used up your free trial data or reached the trial month limit you'll receive a trial expiration email with the chance to subscribe to continue Connected Car Wi-Fi service.

The connected car free trial is available on the Mazda CX-30 (2020 model) with Mazda Connect and lasts until you use up your 2 GB of free data or after 6 months, whichever comes first.

For eligible Mazda vehicles you'll be given the chance to opt in to the free trial the first time you connect to Connected Car Wi-Fi in your vehicle.

During the trial you'll receive alerts when you have 50%, 25%, 10% and 0% of your trial data remaining.

Once you have 0% of your data remaining, you'll receive an email stating that the trial has expired and asking you to subscribe for continued service.

Once you've used up your free trial data or reached the trial month limit you'll receive a trial expiration email with the chance to subscribe to continue Connected Car Wi-Fi service.

There are many ways to subscribe:

• Launch your Connected Car Wi-Fi in vehicle and sign up on your phone through the Verizon portal
• Call Verizon Telesales to get set up at (877) 628-8933

You can find the IMEI for Connected Car Wi-Fi within the Verizon marketing emails and clicking on the link to subscribe, entering your last name and zip code should display the IMEI along with a number to call.

For eligible VW vehicles, the Connected Car free trial is available for eligible vehicles and lasts until you use up 1 GB of data or after 30 days, whichever comes first.

For VW vehicles with embedded Connected Car Wi-Fi, the trial begins when you enroll with VW in the VW Car-Net Trial, which includes Wi-Fi.

During the trial you'll receive an alert from Verizon when you have used 50% of your trial data.

Once you have used up all your remaining data, you'll receive an email letting you know that the trial has expired and asking you to subscribe for continued service.

Once you've used up your free trial data or reached the trial month limit you'll get a trial expiration email from Verizon with the chance to continue your Connected Car Wi-Fi service.
